What are the technological factors to consider in the industrial plug and socket?

In the use of sockets in use, due to current action or abnormal work, failure and other reasons, may lead to higher temperature, or even make charged metal red heat, which requires that the insulating material in the socket should not be deformed and softened under certain temperature conditions, and does not cause the flame to spread when the electrified parts are exposed or when the fire is encountered. When consumers buy plugs and sockets, it is best to do a burning experiment on their core components, but if there is no condition, in appearance, the good material is generally hard, hard to scratch, the structure is tight, and the weight is heavy.

Creepage distance and electrical gap
The creepage distance refers to the shortest path between two conductive parts with different polarity or between the electrified parts and the surface of the easy touch surface along the surface of the insulating material; the electrical gap refers to the shortest distance between these components. The creepage distance and electrical clearance between components of the socket must meet the standard requirements.

Switch contact
There are two kinds of good switch contacts: pure silver and silver lithium alloy. The electrical conductivity of silver is very good and can fully meet the requirements of the contact. However, because of the low melting point of pure silver, it is easy to melt at high temperature or to deform after repeated use. The silver lithium alloy not only ensures the good conductivity of silver, but also effectively improves its melting point and hardness.
